Jessica Morrison (Casner) is a Floridian raised in the grassroots of Westfield, Indiana. Her childhood was filled with serving at Westfield Friends Church: a Quaker church that had been apart of the Underground Railroad. There she was able to attend mission trips to Oklahoma, Georgia, West Virginia, Belize, and Jamaica twice. If she wasn’t volunteering, there’s a good chance you could find her working at Family Christian Stores, or at the local horse barn cleaning stalls in exchange for free riding.

She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2014 with a degree in Illustration. During her college years, she accumulated student loan debt that made her desperate for a career to pay them off and still do art. One night working on a paper, she saw an ad for a property. It was a third less than her tuition, and gave her the idea to invest in real estate. The rest, as they say, is history.

During the process of growing as a Realtor, she has found it to be an incredible match with marketing and building relationships with a variety of clientele. It allows her to utilize her skill sets in creativity and storytelling while serving people. One of her favorite things about real estate is that it allows her to unleash her strongest spiritual gift of hospitality.

Artwise, Jessica enjoys illustrating and painting cultures, testimonies, and environments. She works primarily with graphite pencil, traditional oil, acrylic and watercolor paints. Her clientele locally, global heart for missions, and heart the persecuted Church continuously fuel the appreciation for diversity. These things inspire new understandings of what makes us connect at the Cross, how we love Jesus, and therefore our neighbor.

If she has a break from selling real estate, she can be found playing with kittens Henry and Elijah, or enjoying a book with fresh coffee. There’s also a good chance she’s flirting with Joshua. It’s her favorite thing to mess with her IT systems engineer. (Just say something odd and watch his eyebrows, it’s fun!) They have been happily married since August of 2014. Her journey with Topical Steroid Withdrawal began in October of 2016, and continues to teach her the importance of fixing our eyes only on Jesus as the source of our hope, joy, and salvation.

In 2022, she began a new series of art dedicated to raising awareness for TSW and supporting ITSAN’s advocacy efforts. Her pieces unpack different emotions felt throughout the process of healing, and what it means to have joy in suffering.

Thank you for your time, and may your day be abundantly blessed!
